The Senior Business Analyst (Senior BA) is responsible for understanding the requirements for a particular case, or step of a case, and determining how those functional requirements translate into technical specifications. The BA translates functional requirements into a technical statement of work from which developers can code solutions. The BA works directly with Client Services, Technical Project Managers, Data Analysts, QC Analysts, other BAs, department Team Leads, and others to understand all aspects of the case and to determine and document the data-oriented solution.

Product Development is the team within ECAR which manages and shepherds custom and “off the shelf” application development through the entire lifecycle of a class action or similar matter, such as a mass tort claim. Each case, while unique, undergoes a similar lifecycle and series of operations, including UI and backend processing requirements gathering. Each of these steps will be reflected by and/or have the material effect on the underlying case data.

Responsibilities

• Understand the entire lifecycle of a class action or similar matter, with emphasis on complex or

significant cases. Determine what data is required based on functional requirements, and define how

that data and business rules will translate to internal applications.

• Develop and publish technical specifications, technical requirements, and other documentation, as

required.

• Design data mappings and transformations which will be used to drive ETL procedures.

• Using tools such as Excel, SQL Server, Oracle, and others, directly query, assess, and analyze data to

ensure requirements are being met.

• Serve as liaison between Client Services (business) and Software Development (technical) to keep

production work flowing smoothly. Help guide and mentor less experienced BAs in this capacity.

• Work with Technical Project Managers to ensure all required steps and actions are captured in

project plans, and that project timelines seem reasonable.

• Lead, conduct, or consult in user acceptance test exercises to ensure results are acceptable and

Requirements

Position Overview:

Organization & Culture
The Desktop Operations team is responsible for the architecture, engineering, and configuration management of the client computing environment. In addition to Tier 3 troubleshooting and support, the scope of services for Desktop Operations includes; hardware and software maintenance, device encryption management, endpoint protection, vulnerability response, patch management, and desktop software application packaging, testing, and deployment.




POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Administer the Airwatch Mobile Device Management application:
o Console user permissions, groups, and privileges;
o Performance monitoring and tuning;
o Patch compliance monitoring and deployment;
o Assisting with application upgrades (Airwatch is SaaS);
o Research, design and apply appropriate configuration settings for smartphone devices;
o Phone groups, roles, role based provisioning of services and applications;
o Creating reports on various aspects such as utilization, compliance, rolls variance, etc. for management review;
o Working with other system component providers (networking, Server Ops, etc.) or the SaaS vendor to ensure correct operation of the Airwatch MDM system.
• Draft, edit, and update process and technical support documentation.

• Troubleshoot calls from the IT Service Desk and start the resolution process, coordinating with other subject matter experts as required:

o Supply 3rd tier/advanced technical support for Smartphone devices;
o Supply 3rd tier/advanced technical support related to desktop technologies.
• Prioritize work with a focus on client satisfaction and follow through based on established procedures and guidance from Client Manager.
• Understand the IT working environment sufficiently to explain technical issues and solutions to a wide range of technical and non-technical clients.





REQUIREMENTS
Education & Corresponding Experience:

This is a fantastic 7+ month contract opportunity with Oregon's most prestigious medical companies. Join an enterprise project leveraging SAP Business Objects Web Intelligence, Information Design Tool (Universe Development), and knowledge of SQL Server T-SQL, this position is responsible for working with Client Finance and ITG’s Business Intelligence and Advanced Analytics Teams to transition reporting from our Epic Clarity instance on Oracle RDBMS to Epic Clarity and Caboodle on Microsoft SQL Server RDBMS.

The ideal candidate will have prior healthcare or finance/accounting department data experience, preferably in a healthcare organization that utilizes Epic Systems Electronic Medical Record System.

Experience with Epic Clarity and Caboodle Data Warehouse is strongly desired. Beyond technical skills, English communication skills sufficient to capture requirements from customers shared in verbal and written form and translate these into business intelligence solutions using Business Objects Universes and Web Intelligence is necessary for success in this role.

  • Project and Systems Management: Will fully understand and utilize the System Development Life Cycle (SDLC) process and procedures. Will manage projects by creating timelines, identifying risks and milestones, and providing status reporting to others as defined. Provide support to data warehouse developers, line-of-business analysts and users to validate data in the data warehouse. Investigate and report on problems and work to ensure the validity of the data warehouse. Required Qualifications

  1. Epic Caboodle Proficiency or Certification is required The ideal candidate will also possess a good understanding of Epic Resolute billing processes, Epic Clarity Resolute HB and PB data structures, healthcare terminology, and the data model of Epic Caboodle Data Warehouse.

Position Overview:

POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Coordinate and complete the design of all assigned transmission line and substation co-located Wireless projects to verify conformance to all institutional regulations and to provide a working and safe design.
• Participate in initial planning meetings with clients and customers and assist in the development of project estimates.
• Work with the Project Manager and Customer Service Engineer at the start of the design phase of assigned projects to develop schedules.
• Work with representatives of other Client organizations such as Planning, District Offices, Customer Service Engineering, Structural Engineering, Realty, Environment, Transmission Marketing and Sales to develop assigned projects.
• Provide recommendations and the coordination of necessary activities to establish the most effective location of Wireless facilities on transmission lines and fiber optic facilities serving the associated Wireless facilities, considering performance, cost, environmental impacts and problems related to public and/or political issues.
• Facilitate and monitor the progress of the overall design of assigned projects, interacting extensively with the Project Manager and other engineers, documenting all pertinent changes encountered as well as their impacts.
• Provide design support to construction contractors, Construction Managers, TLM, construction inspectors, or other field personnel during the construction of assigned transmission Wireless projects.
• Complete special design studies where unique or unusually complex problems are involved, as assigned.
• Review and check designs prepared by other engineers to verify accuracy, adequacy, and conformance to Client’s requirements and design parameters.
• Review and validate contractor prepared drawings, material certifications and submittals for conformance to design specifications and standards.
• Perform troubleshooting and provide technical support to Client wireless customers.
• Serve as a technical expert for issues or matters related to the Wireless Program Project Engineering to validate compliance with safety and construction requirements and verify that designs protect the performance and structural integrity of transmission towers.
• Inspect completed wireless installations and observe operation to verify conformance to design and equipment specifications and compliance with the Client Engineering Design and Safety Standards.
• Prepare specifications for purchase of material and equipment for existing and future wireless sites co-located on the Client Transmission system.

• Provide planning support by coordinating design review of drawings and plans of service with Wireless Companies and estimate the feasibility of the electrical and safety portion of the requested wireless construction project.

REQUIREMENTS
Education & Corresponding Experience:
• Bachelor’s degree in the field of Electrical Engineering or a directly-related field is required.
• 10 years of relevant professional experience with Project Engineering In a high voltage and/or electrical transmission environment.




Required Technical Skills & Experience:
• 5 years of experience with corrosion mitigation, preferably cathodic protection.

Summary
Data Services is the team within ECAR which manages and shepherds data through the entire lifecycle of a class action or similar matter, such as a mass tort claim. Each case, while unique, undergoes a similar lifecycle and series of operations, including initial gathering/scrubbing/loading of client data, notifying potential class members, receiving claim information, computing and disbursing settlement amounts, and so on. Each of these steps will be reflected by and/or have material effect on the underlying case data. The Business System Analyst (BSA) is responsible for understanding the requirements for a particular case, or step of a case, and determining how those functional requirements translate into technical specifications. The BSA translates functional requirements into a technical statement of work from which developers can code solutions. The BSA works directly with Client Services, Technical Project Managers, Data Analysts, QC Analysts, other BSAs, department Team Leads, and others to understand all aspects of the case and to determine and document the data-oriented solution.


Job Responsibilities
• Understand the entire lifecycle of a class action or similar matter, determine what data is required based on functional requirements, and define how that data and business rules will translate to internal applications.
Develop and publish technical specifications, technical requirements, and other documentation, as required.
Design data mappings and transformations which will be used to drive ETL procedures.
• Work with QC Analysts to design testing strategies and plans to ensure all outcomes are as expected.

• Perform manual data entry into relational database from existing paper and electronic records, and coordinate with Technicians and others to resolve discrepancies.

This position will also work with Grid Modeling Engineers and Client’s customers to gather, analyze, compare, and process the Facility Ratings from foreign utilities in support of Client’s compliance with NERC FAC-008.



POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Support calculation of transmission system impedance parameters used in reliability and commercial planning and operational powerflow studies, real-time studies and fault studies by performing the following functions:
o Geometric Mean Distances (GMDs)
 Identify phase spacing from structure diagrams. If diagrams are not available, estimate phase spacing from eGIS, LiDAR, or other topography.
 Calculate GMDs
 Draft updates to phase configurations

This role is responsible for administration of the Epic Clarity platform . This is accomplished by performing Clarity Administration tasks, system configuration and ETL development. This position will need to perform scoping and estimating on Clarity and Data Warehouse related activities. Such development work is related to creating and customizing KB-SQL, creation of derived tables and associated store procedures, mitigating issues related to Epic supplied DDL. The Clarity Administrator is responsible for the process of upgrading the Clarity platforms during each SU and Epic Upgrade.

Present technical information and design proposals in easily understood terms in both verbal and written form. Work closely with fellow IT staff and project management to develop, test and document systems and processes. Interact and work directly with customers, team members and analysts on project and support issues. Facilitates communication upward and across project teams. Follow change management and problem management processes.

This position is also responsible for detailed technical analysis to assure the availability and accuracy of data processed by the Epic Clarity ETL or contained in the data warehouses and systems. This will include availability for rotation through an after-hours on-call support model as needed for upgrades, project go lives or to provide ongoing support of new systems that may have 24x7 support agreements. This will require a broad knowledge of systems and workflows.

The Incumbent will observe due care, objectivity and respect for confidentiality. Key Responsibilities & Performance Standards

  • System Configuration and Administration.
  • Develop, Implement and Maintain the Epic reporting system such as Clarity and Caboodle including the implementation, monitoring and validation of provided ETL routines.
  • Work with other key ITG groups such as DBAs, networking, security and infrastructure teams to assure the systems follow ITG standards and best practices.
