Key Responsibilities & Performance Standards

1 Preparation/Cooking: Prepare food items for patients and visitors at Hospital according to standardized recipes and menus or by verbal instruction given by higher-level cooks or supervisors. Perform functions according to following procedures as listed: (1) mise-en-place (put in place) all ingredients and supplies; (2) perform all required preparation; (3) cook ingredients using prescribed best method; (4) hold and serve at proper safe temperature; (5) chill as appropriate using correct food safety procedures; (6) reheat as necessary to the appropriate safe temperature; (7) properly label and date products to be stored in the various stages of production.



2 Food Safety & Sanitation: Ensure all foods, including potentially hazardous foods, are handled in a safe and proper manner according to Food and Nutrition Standard Operating Procedures, Hazard Analysis and Critical Control Points (HACCP), Hospital Infection Control, and Multnomah County Health Department. Identify critical control points (CCPs) in food preparation and storage and monitor the factors that might create a food safety hazard, using corrective action when a deviation occurs. CCPs include but are not limited to: hand washing, cooking, cooling, holding, thawing, temperature monitoring, cross-contamination. Effectively prepare sanitizing agents (e.g. bleach water or quat sanitizer) and clean and sanitize food preparation appliances, work areas, utensils, and equipment using dish machine or three-compartment sink method. Maintain cleanliness of assigned work area. At minimum, the last 30 minutes of each shift will be dedicated to cleaning, sanitizing, and sweeping assigned work area.



3 Planning, Requisitioning and Preparation: This position must be able to maintain adequate products and supplies for patient operations, especially being prepared for the next days and coming events. Request needed products, and supplies to be ordered; check supplies or food products delivered by suppliers, to insure they meet type, quantity, and quality specified, checked for proper temperature safety standards. Must be able to make a production schedule and oversee its completion, coordinating with the patient services supervisor and the retail café supervisor to ensure complete order and adjust to last minute order when necessary. Keep records of amounts of foods prepared and left overs to adjust production schedules.



4 Miscellaneous: Provides training in cooking methods and procedures, participates with supervisor in planning menus and recipe development and testing. Cook II positions are expected to be independent problem solvers, and creative innovators; and perform regular and new tasks and responsibilities as assigned by managers and supervisors. The project manager is responsible for overall project performance, coordinating with the other members of the project team and the company at large for the timely and optimal utilization of resources assigned to the project. Works to ensure that project is completed within the established time frame and maximize budgetary parameters.

Assists in planning and coordinating system for design and implementation of projects. Such projects may involve the development of new data processing applications systems or the substantial modification of existing systems. Projects may also involve basic changes in methods and techniques employed. This position provides technical coordination and review with the project teams, but not direct administrative supervision.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Responsible for project team and their responsibilities.
  2. Establish and maintain professional and effective relations with the owner, contractor and architect.
  3. Review and approve all owner change orders.
  4. Responsible for complete project budget, ensures change orders falls within budget requirements.
  5. Maintains close liaison with engineering team so the concepts and goals of the project are achieved, providing good technical guidance as needed.
  6. Reviews project contract to determine most appropriate procedures, prepares budget projections and requirements.
  7. Responsible for creating, reviewing, and implementing change orders.
  8. Prepares monthly billing to be submit to client.
  9. Ensures project buyout with subcontractors meets budget.
  10. Assists accounting with project budgeting, finance and cash flow.
  11. Approve all subcontractor, supplier, and material invoices for payment ensuring that applications for payment are promptly submitted, payments are received, and funds are property disbursed.
  12. Liaison with all subcontractors on jobsite. Responsible for contract and buyout of each subcontractor.
  13. Monitors activities to ensure compliance with any government regulations that may apply.
  14. Maintains close liaison with structural engineering firm, overseas all areas of contract scope is covered.
  15. Responsible for activities and the results of those activities specifically assigned and agreed upon.
  16. Completes assigned projects in a timely manner, within project resources.
  17. Ensures good coordination and effective project integration with existing systems.
  18. Secures approvals on specifications and project completion as appropriate.
  19. Keeps management informed of project progress and problems, particularly as to needed changes in schedule, resources, production, or installation.
  20. Prepares periodic progress reports, estimates, and re-estimates, including productivity analysis for the President, Operations and Accounting.
  21. Responds to problems in a timely, effective manner.
  22. Maintains appropriate expertise to ensure effective, solution-oriented service level.
  23. Attendance in the office/field during normal business hours.

Qualified Candidates Will Possess the Following:

Education: College graduate or equivalent; Construction Management or Engineering background preferable.

Experience: Prior experience working for a general contractor, mechanical subcontractor, or curtainwall subcontractor in the high-rise construction industry. Minimum 5+ year’s Project coordination or Project Management experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Experienced with MS Office programs.

Other Requirements: A self-motivated career professional that enjoys detailed project work, strong analytical skills, organizational skills, and works well under pressure. Position demands maturity, confidentiality, and the ability to interface with various departments and individuals. Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This is an outstanding opportunity to work in a well-respected market leader, located near Washington Square Mall in Beaverton.

The Production Data Analyst (DA) develops database queries, scripts, tools, and methods to manage data according to client requirements, within defined technical standards, and within time constraints. Emphasis is on ETL procedures. The DA is proficient with relational database concepts and practices, is able to evaluate and write complex SQL queries, and can create and maintain common database objects such as views, stored procedures, and user-defined functions. The DA should be familiar with and able to utilize code management and/or revision control tools and follow standard software development practices. The majority of time is spent developing and refining ETL processes, writing update queries, and writing ad-hoc queries on behalf of clients and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities
  • Develop and maintain ETL procedures according to client specifications and within defined technical standards.
  • Develop and maintain database stored procedures, user-defined functions, views, triggers and other common database objects.
  • Write custom and ad-hoc SQL queries and update queries.
  • Follow prescribed software development standards, processes, procedures, methodologies, etc., according to departmental policies and conventions.
  • Interact and correspond professionally with team members, project management, clients, and other stakeholders.
  • Account for and accurately log time against project work.

Required Skills:
  • BS Computer Science or related discipline, or equivalent industry experience.
  • 2+ years hands-on experience with MS SQL Server, 2008 R2 or higher, as a developer or DBA.
  • Strong SQL skills, able to create and to evaluate complex SQL statements involving numerous tables and complex relationships.
  • Ability to work in an environment with deadlines and shifting priorities.
  • Basic understanding of and experience with query performance tuning.
  • Experience developing and maintaining ETL procedures.
  • Experience with SSIS preferred.
  • Experience or familiarity with C# or Visual Basic is a plus
  • Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; able to adjust for intended audience. Fluency in English.
