Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a well-respected international market leader, located near Washington Square Mall in Beaverton.
The SQL Server Developer will help the scrum teams create performant backend code (queries, triggers, sprocs, etc) going forward. They will also review past work and identify poor performant code, as well as monitor live performance and proactively provide guidance to hot spots (poor performance) in production code.
- Experience as a performance-oriented DBA/SQL Developer.
- Experience with the following:
- MS SQL
- Performance/Tuning tools
- Ability to work in an environment with deadlines and shifting priorities.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing; able to adjust for intended audience. Fluency in English.
- Scrum experience.
- Experience with TFS, BI, data visualization tools desired.
- Good team player
- Ownership of work
